Maya Saldana is originally from Monterey, California where she grew up spending countless hours in her grandmother’s salon. It was this early experience that sparked Maya’s passion for the industry and shaped both her drive and work ethic. Upon graduation from the Paul Mitchell School in Reno, Maya’s hardworking attitude and willingness to learn earned her a place in the Cru assistant program. 

Today, Maya is Great-Length certified and has continued to advance her skills through high-level classes and workshops. She specializes in dimensional, lived-in color, bright blondes, and low-maintenance extensions. “I believe that beauty and hair carry a huge role in self-expression and creativity. I strive to empower others to feel confident in their own skin through their hair.”  

Her clients appreciate her attention to detail, the personalized experience she provides, as well as the patience she offers when it comes to helping her clients achieve healthy, beautiful hair. 

When she’s not in the salon, Maya can be found hanging out with her family and being Mom to her 7-year-old son.
